I applied through college or university. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at GE Aerospace in Sep 2016
Interview
It was purely behavioral and on campus at a career fair. The process was not more than 2 weeks. I was given an interview based on GPA only. Then during the interview, we talked about my resume and was asked some behavioral type questions. The interview itself was fairly short. Others I talked to had a similar experience in the interview.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at GE Aerospace (Lynn, MA) in Aug 2016
Interview
Pretty easy process. Applied online and got a phone screen pretty short after. I passed the phone screen and was asked to come in for an in person interview. Interview was about 5-6 behavioral questions (give me a time when...) and more information on the position. I interviewed in front of an HR manager as well as a business leader. Thought the interview went well...didn't hear much for a while and later found out I was not accepted

Question 1
She asked about the experience related to job descriptions. She were probing me on how my experience relevance to what they are looking for. It was very simple and none technical conversation. The next day were phone interview with the direct hiring manage who asked very technical questions. This is something that you know or you don't. Questions about heat transfer in a confine space. The manage was very kind and very direct. Later on, I felt like he was my mentor.
