      Summer Intern Interview

      Mar 18, 2009
      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Four Seasons in Feb 2009

      Interview

I had previously interned with the Four Seasons in Hong Kong before in 2007. I was looking for another summer internship with the group so I e-mailed the assistant director of HR at the hotel and explained my situation. She replied promptly and seemed happy to hear from a former intern, even though we hadn't met before. Given the economic situation and lower intern numbers, she indicated that she would make every effort to try and secure an internship position for me. Sure enough, I hear back from her two months later saying they had a place for me in the department I requested. The director of that particular department calls me within the following two weeks for a quick interview. She was extremely friendly and discussed all the aspects of the summer program I would be participating in. Seems like it's going to be an exciting summer.
