It was a group interview and they brought us to a back room. Pretty simple questions such as tell me something about yourself, why you want to work here, and do you know any current fashion trends, etc. We were told that we didn't have to answer in the order of how we were standing -- we could just answer whenever we wanted to as a way to see how well we mesh with others. Overall, it was not a bad experience.

Question 1
Who is your favorite designer and do you know any current fashion trends?
I applied in-person. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Forever 21 (Toronto, ON) in Feb 2012
Interview
The interview was very quick and the questions that were asked were basic. It was a job fair interview so I am sure they were not as thorough as they should have been with the interview process. You don't really need to know about the history of the company but it would be a good idea to take a look at the website to understand their trends and target market.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Forever 21 (New Orleans, LA) in Jun 2014
Interview
The interview took place at a table set up outside the store and it was 1:1 with the store manager. During it I was sort of nervous becaus interviews are a weakness for me but looking back it was easy. I was asked why did I apply to xxi as opposed to the other stores in the mall. Another question was why should I be hired to work for xxi. Another one was about my style of clothes, what did I consider myself; girly, boho, etc. Then one was about my schedule for work, how available I would be.
