The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Forever 21 in Jun 2010
Interview
I handed in my resume and got a call for an interview a week later. I had a one on one interview from the manager. My advice is to make sure you are confident and relaxed when you are in the interview. If you are shy, pretend to be confident. Remember, the other person has never met you before this and won't know that you are a shy person. Also, dress the part. Don't dress up too much because forever 21 is more of a store that sells casual to semi-formal clothing. A dress shirt and maybe shorts will do if it is summertime. The manager asked me about 4-5 questions that were pretty basic. Just take your time and stay calm.
I applied through other source. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Forever 21 (Baltimore, MD) in Jun 2011
Interview
The interviewer basically asked different questions to every person in the group. At the beginning, we all had to introduce ourselves and after that, he asked things such as our strengths/weaknesses, what we'd do if we saw someone stealing something, what we'd say if we saw someone pick out something that doesn't suit them at all, etc and maybe a couple of other questions that I can't remember. Then he went through our applications and asked about our work experience/ hours available.

Question 1
What would you do if you saw a woman who was really certain that she wanted to buy an item, but you didn't think it looked good on her?
I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Forever 21 (Hicksville, NY) in Jun 2011
Interview
I didn't get the job officially yet, but my interviewer was very nice and I could tell that she was very dedicated to the store. She asked me the typical questions: explain yourself more, why Forever 21, how do you interact in a group, what can you bring to Forever 21. I was pretty comfortable with the interviewer and she seemed genuine. She did warn me about closing which can range from 11pm-3am which I was warned about earlier. And since I don't drive and said that my parents would have to pick me up, she said she wanted me to make sure that I could definitely do it. She told me to call back and if she didn't get a call, she would understand my choice. I have not decided if I was going to follow through yet, because I am also a student and taking classes, but I definitely am really eager to work at this store for the experience.
