I applied in-person. I interviewed at Forever 21 (Seattle, WA) in Aug 2012
Interview
This was at the giant three-floor Forever 21 in downtown Seattle, on Pine and 6th. I submitted an application around a month ago after hearing from another associate that they were hiring (I pretty much LIVE at this store). A month later, they called back on asking me to come in for an interview Monday (which was yesterday). At the interview were the hiring guy, myself, and another girl. We were going to go into the back room, but it was in use, so we just did it out on the sales floor. He asked us all the basic questions listed here on Glassdoor. We were not required to pick outfits. Afterwards he gave us each a background check form to fill out, let us know we'd be contacted in a few days, and disappeared. Overall, a wicked easy interview.
Group interview,
A question would be asked and they went through the group by a number you were given.
Wasn't too hard, they asked questions about customer service and why you wanna work at F21.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Forever 21
Interview
Applied online on Thursday night and Saturday night same week got a call for an interview. It was a group interview. I was fairly easy and quite laid back. Questions were quite simple. A lot has to do with customer service.

Question 1
Out of the questions we really had to think about for a second was not difficult but caught us a little off guard because we really didn't know how to approach it. It was: Can you rate your customer service experience from your visit with us from 1 to 10? One being the lowest and ten being very satisfied.
