I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Forever 21 (Tucson, AZ) in May 2014
Interview
It was a group interview in the food court. There were about 12 people and the managers asked questions and we were able to answer them whenever we wanted by raising our hands. They then cut a big number and there were a few of us left. We were taken to the store and split into teams where we had to make an outfit based on a scenario and then we had to present it. I got the job offer the same day.
I applied in-person. I interviewed at Forever 21 (Toronto, ON)
Interview
It was very laid back, no pressure, very open and friendly. i went in and gave my resume. they called me back for an in person interview and then i went in and had to wait for the manager to be free. they came out and we found a place to sit and talked. for the interview near the store. they asked me about my soft skills and goals. then they sent me home and i got a call saying i got it.
p.s. i would not reccomend working here although im pretty sure it shut down. i wasn't trained properly (i was young and this was my first job) they did a group training where they told us to just pat stuff down and shift things. then i was given someone to shadow who i only saw in the beginning and then never again. i was frequently put in large extremely messy sections by myself.

Its was fine. Its a group interview, which is on par for retail. It was not hard. but there were a lot of other people interviewing. It gave the impression that that constant lose aa lot of staff.
Easy interview, hired on the spot. Questions were very basic, asked about what skills you have that would lead to your success in the position. Interview was very informal and laid back.
