      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Forever 21 (Atlanta, GA) in Nov 2018

      Interview

I applied online for their Perimeter location. I was called back in less than 20 minutes for their North Point location. The women on the phone informed me that my application was forwarded over and would I be interested in interview the next day. I was like of course and she set the interview for 10:00 am. I arrived to the mall early 30 minutes early to find the location of the store. The store was suppose to open at 10:00 am didn’t open the gate to get in until 10:15. I saw visually were a lot of the errors in their visual merchandising came to play but I was like well they obviously need help that’s why I’m here. I arrived in the store it was unclear if anyone even knew about an interview. I was handed a paper application to do. I felt like it was busy work until I could interview someone. I got into the interview all I heard was negative about the job but she phrased it as letting me know what came with this job. She barely asked me anything and then later I was told to do some free labor in one of her section that was suppose to be called “rebel girl” it look like “Country girl in black”. Everyone their looked like they personally hated their job. Nobody want to be there and everything they were told to do was a dramatic deal. I finished the task and she send the pictures of my work to her District manager. Told me I would hear something by the end of the week. I head something the next day. I was told to have a second interview at the location that I originally applied for Perimeter. I came early again and wait this time I could see the difference in the environment from outside the window. Everyone looks like they are trying to be active in the merchandising process the doors opened on time and I told someone at the register I was here for a interview I waited for like 5 mins and then we went outside the store at a small table to interview. Very fist question was what I knew about forever 21 and I really blanked on that one but the interview got way better. I really enjoyed it and was happy to talk to her. The interview went very well and she ended by telling me she wishes she could hire me but she hired someone the day I applied for the position she just wanted to talk to me because it’s hard for there company to find good visual merchandising people. She continued by asking was I interested in any other position and I replied by saying not at the time. She told me she would talk to the district manager to see whatever is available in the district that I could possibly work out in. The District manager called me the next day and said I would be interview in another location that’s called Forever 21 Red. I had to google what it was but it’s a cheaper forever 21 even though I didn’t think that was possible. I came early again just watching the place and I then enter and came in to this women rolling her eyes at me but she got it back turns out that’s who would be interviewing me. At first it was just me and her and them their store manager needed something from her and decided she had nothing better to do but to sit in front of me and be pointless. I spent the whole interview with an attitude because I had to inform her I wasn’t interviewing for a sales associate position and that she was being very disrespectful with her facial expression and the constant rolling of her eyes. From there on she spent the rest of the interview trying to make me remember every exact date that I worked for my different brand. They both sat their and judged me like they were CoCo Chanel but had on a base Jean vest and dirty T-shirt with some entirely too tight dirty jeans. I kind ended the interview because no one just going to sit and disrespect me. I had three different interviews in a two week spand. I haven’t heard anything yet but it was thanksgiving break. The last one was pointless and horrible.

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Forever 21 (Los Angeles, CA) in Jun 2015

      Interview

Three interviews, two in person, one call-in. flexible and friendly. New position to the company. You needed to have knowledge about both visual and operational strategies and how to combine them. It sets you apart to have a background in that combination of management. Really wants to see that you are comfortable in high volume.
