The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Forever 21 (Riverside, CA) in Sep 2011
Interview
There was a job fair for the new Forever 21 opening up at the Tyler Galleria.
I went on a Friday, showed up early and had to wait in line for 2 hours before I was able to get in a group interview with 9 other people! The interviewer was looking at his phone most of the time and hardly made eye contact with anyone. It was hard to get a word in with 9 other people competing to speak in this 10 minute interview.
Anyway, I thought I did fine, I was the only one in the group to have full availability and the interviewer asked me about that several times. He remembered my name, so I figured I would get a call back but didn't.
He informed us that if we didn't get a call back, we were welcome to go back the next time they had a job fair and try again.
It was an in-person interview. It was very easy, and a standard retail interview. lasted around 10 minutes. The manager asked some scenario questions but overall, the questions were pretty straightforward.
It was a casual group interview. I sat down with a manager and another girl who was applying. They just asked a few standard questions about us and our experience.
Interviewer did not seem very experienced. He was rushing the interview and only asked general questions such as where do you see yourself in 10 years… for an entry level job.
