I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Fluor (Sugar Land, TX) in Aug 2012
Interview
Wrote a nice cover letter to the right person and attached my resume. He sent me the name of someone in HR, which I forwarded it to. Got a call for an interview. Visited Sugar Land. Interviewed. HR fellow called back and asked about salary expectations. Stated "I'd done research; make a reasonable offer." Got a job offer with a moving bonus. Seemed nice enough at the time, but since learned it was probably a bit low.
