I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Fluor (New York, NY) in Jun 2014
Interview
I didn't really receive an interview but an offer for a position as a former employee. Fluor not only disappointed me, but also insulted me! The offered salary and pay grade, for a job I didn't go looking for, was based solely on my pay and "rank" from 8 years ago (!!!!). Obviously they believe that a) only Fluor experience counts or b) I've been living under a rock, not growing and advancing in my profession.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
I wasn't asked any questions. It sure would have helped if they had asked me about how I've grown and advanced in my profession. Perhaps they wouldn't have insulted me and embarrassed themselves!
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Fluor (Dallas, TX) in Sep 2013
Interview
It was really simple. One day I was at a friends house as he was BBQ and he asked me was I working. I told him no and I needed a job and he said he got something for me. he gave me a number to call and who to ask for and told me to tell them I'm calling about the next outage starting and was looking for work. He asked me a brief few questions. and said he call me back about a week later he called back and told me I had the job and when it starts and where to be. It was that simple.
