Almost everyone was positive and encouraging, but one person had to put on the Evil Interviewer mask, which is OK if you are driven by stepping over juniors; coincidentally his plan unfolds to show the company culture as well. In an environment driven by innovation, scare tactics only hurt further innovation, it only hurts the company.
I told him that my comfort level as well as the quality of my answers are diminishing due to his North Korean style interview, in which case he left the room in an unprofessional manner.
I got a good laugh out of it and I must be thankful that they squeezed in the Evil Interviewer along with the innovative ones, because if I had a bag of 10 crisp apples, and even if only 1 of them was rotten, it would be enough to rot the whole bag, given enough time.
