I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Flex (Kanata, ON)
Interview
Initially had a standard phone interview with the recruiter. Then the in person interview was a rotating style of 1:1s from various site leadership personnel and Human Resources. Informal and situational type questions that lead to interactive discussion. It was pretty standard for the role. Follow up post interview was quick as they needed to fill the role in a timely manner.
I applied online. I interviewed at Flex in Nov 2025
Interview
Pros: Initial outreach was prompt and the recruiter was energetic. Cons: The salary range posted on LinkedIn was not accurate. During the call, the recruiter admitted the range was only posted to comply with California law and the actual base pay was lower. Additionally, the recruiter heavily "upsold" the role and my standing as a "top candidate" only to send a generic rejection 24 hours later without the promised hiring manager interview.
