face to face interview with Mr Andrew Steel and phone interview with Mr Jamerson for around 30mins. We discussed issues on current affairs and why need I choose to major in the discipline I am in. I did everything went quite smoothly but I faltered when they asked if I have had experience using the Bloomberg Terminal and using excel.

Straight forward. They will take whatever they can get, but preference is for top end colleges regardless of how you perform on the day. Having a foreign language is helpful but key requirement is to accept the LOW PAY. To get the job just waffle about shares, companies, say you read the FT etc usual. Its a golden ticket if you fail to get a real job somewhere else, spend a year here and then apply for decent job in a bank and you have a better chance of getting it. Just do not spend more than a year here or no one will hire you as they will think you have gone to seed.
