I recently interviewed at First Student for a Coordinator role, and unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The interview process was very disorganized with irrelevant questions that didn’t seem related to the position I applied for. Additionally, communication was poor—after the interview, I never received any follow-up or even a courtesy notice that they had moved on with other applicants. Professionalism and organization are key in any hiring process, and this experience left me questioning how they manage other aspects of their business.
The interview process typically involves several stages, though it can vary depending on the company and role. Here’s a general breakdown:
Application Review:
The recruiter or hiring manager screens resumes and cover letters to shortlist candidates.
Initial Screening (Phone/Video Call):
A brief 15–30 minute chat to discuss your background, skills, and motivation for applying.
I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at First Student (Dhaka) in Sep 2024
