Ferrero Internal Communication interview questions

I had 2 interviews for the specified role right before the holiday period. They said they would get back to me with results right after, however I only heard back from the hiring manager that the role has been filled internally after I had to reach out myself, and after about a mont I received another answer from a different person who said the role was cancelled in general. Still wondering what actually happened.
