There were 2 rounds of interview. First round was by junior superviors and second was by department heads. Once the department head decided that he/she wants you, you would be recruited under his/her department

Question 1
How would you explain distillation to a Pri 5 kid?
Very chill experience, felt like a get to know you conversation with the managers who were very nice, mainly asked standard behavioural questions like Why ExxonMobil, asked about your resume
The interview was in person, 1 hour, one on one. It was overwhelming at first but the interviewer was really nice. It was difficult to make a connection with her though,
- talked to the engineers at career fair, they treated it as the first round of interview
- managed to get to the final round
- mostly behaviourial and fit questions
