I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at ExxonMobil (New Orleans, LA) in Sep 2017
Interview
After a career fair at my university, I had an on campus interview and then after moving through that, a phone interview with a specific site. The interview was very formal and planned out. The initial interview was meant to determine if the candidate was a good fit with the company, and after they decided you were, they would look for a site with an open position.

Question 1
Tell us about a time you had to lead a group through a difficult challenge
Very long process from application to getting a reply from the Hiring Manager. Generally get computer generated replies in email. Very stringent processes, though have applied for a couple, still unable to get replies
The interview process was fairly standard overall. It started with a recruiter screen, followed by a hiring manager interview and a few conversations with team members. The questions were mostly behavioral with some role-specific discussion. Communication was decent, though timing between steps could have been a little clearer.
This interview consists of two distinct parts, and the interviewer genuinely wants to understand your unique personality. Just remain calm, be yourself, and answer every single question with complete sincerity.
