I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at ExxonMobil (Newark, NJ) in Oct 2017
Interview
It was pretty informal, just going over your resume talking about your skills and what youve done in the past, all very friendly and they take you on a tour of the facilities. Talked to 4-5 different people, overall pleasant experience

Interview
I had a phone screening then an on-site interview. The onsite took well over and hour to complete. They cycled through different lead researchers each with their own questions. Some ranging from typical questions and others asking for more in depth explanation of your knowledge.

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at ExxonMobil in Feb 2017
Interview
Conducted a phone interview with two personnel from the company in Annandale, New Jersey. Interview was very short, as they mentioned up front that they would not pay for relocation, or to fly me out for an interview, as this was to be a locally-sourced job. This was not mentioned in the job listing, and caused me to decline further interviewing
