Experian's career site and application process is a mess. It's nearly impossible to log-in and complete a profile in under 1.5 hours. Pre-screening assessments take yet another 25-30 minutes and does not match the seniority or level of experience expected of the candidate.
Interview questions [3]
Question 1
Series of tactical product management questions for more junior or mid-level Product Managers, rather than for a VP with 15+ years of experience, focused around sprints, priorities, delays, defects, and schedule.
Series of attitude / behavioral questions with use of absolutes (always/never) emphasis on competitive nature, competitive motivations, control and meticulousness/perfectionism.
Extremely high expectations of talent/candidate to have experience that is like a rare unicorn, yet the recruiting process doesn't reciprocate appreciation for the match.
I applied online. I interviewed at Experian (Sofía, )
Interview
The interview consists of a non-technical part in which the candidate shares his previous experience. Having projects (even if they're not in python) is considered a plus.
The technical part of the interview consists of a test in Python and writing SQL queries.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Experian (Londres, Inglaterra) in Dec 2019
Interview
3 stage process:
1. Phone interview with HR
2. Phone interview with hiring manager
3. Face to face with a pre prepared presentation
Unfortunately did not hear back at all dispite me chasing for feedback. I did not get any response. Poor show after a candidate has invested so much.
