I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Everforth Apex Systems (Richmond, VA) in Oct 2018
Interview
I went in for an in person interview at the RVA office after the standard two phone interviews. My first interview was with the head of sales, whom I'd be working directly with during training. After sitting down he explained he hadn't really looked over my resume (and didn't ask me for a copy which I had printed out) and stated that he didn't like to ask questions during interviews and would rather the interviewee ask all the questions and do the talking. He then stated "I assume you have some prepared for me?" which of course I had but was still thrown off. We went through my questions and then he asked me to go over my background. The only actual question he asked me is what motivates me. I then went on to interview and speak with three other people but was so off put from his attitude and demeanor that I was no longer interested in the job by the time I left his office.
Two rounds. First with recruiter and then with the team. The team I met was insufferable. These people really thought they were gods or something. The whole job is just cold calling all day which is nothing special. One of them bragged about "meeting the CEO of Microsoft" and the other about how "all the account managers here are millionaires". It was like something out of the movie Boiler Room. "It's not about if your going to be a millionaire, it's about how many time over" -Ben Affleck. Terrible experience. Also, at the end of Boiler Room the whole company gets raided by the FBI...
I applied online. I interviewed at Everforth Apex Systems (Texas City, TX) in Apr 2025
Interview
one phone screen, one in-person interview. Not much detailing into the role, the training, and overall work-life balance. Day to day responsibilities or company in-office culture was not talked about at all or the support/team help with creating new business.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Everforth Apex Systems (Vancouver, BC) in Mar 2025
Interview
A very structured company with genuinely amazing people. I went through 3 rounds of interviews and had the chance to speak with the recruiter, the hiring manager, and a member of the leadership team. Every single person I spoke with was incredibly accommodating, respectful, and thoughtful throughout the process. It was a truly positive interview experience from start to finish. I decline because I could not commit to the start date and had an emergency which required me to travel outside the country. Also, the 10 days PTO in the first year did not work for me.
