Equifax Account Executive interview questions

Had a great interview with recruiter, so so with hiring manager who didn’t understand my past positions and then with VP who “phoned” it in. After 2 months of being ghosted by recruiter and following with with the VP who I guess had a conscious, found out I didn’t get the position. Was strung along for so long. Why do this to people? Not a good experience and definitely reflective of the company.

HR screen, 30 min with hiring manager, 30 min with each of two of manager's peers, rubber stamp interview with second line manager. Easy behavioral questions about my background and experience selling.
