I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Emma
Interview
I honestly didn't understand too much of this recruitment process. I initially applied to an HR role, somewhere at the beginning of autumn 2023 and received a call after a couple of months - apparently I was overqualified for the HR role I applied and they asked if I would take into consideration a personal assistant role. Four more interviews followed but I had the impression that the process was quite chaotic and unprofessional - recruiter wasn't sure about when to schedule the interviews, the local information that I received wasn't aligned with the one from the global people with whom I discussed during the process, the actual tasks and scope of the role are still unclear to me since I found out new/different information about them from one discussion to another. Of course at the end of the process no one bothered to send even a rejection email template, and I am mentioning this since I got into the final stage of the process (=investing time and energy) and I specifically called the local HR to ask for a feedback because in the meantime I received another offer as well (true story). Last but not least, it seemed that they wanted to emphasize this "we are different and we have this cool entrepreneurial culture where sky is the limit" thing - how about trying to be cool by following the verbal agreements with actions? Or designing a proper job description to be shared with the candidates? When you really are interesting, you don't need to say it out loud because it just shows :)

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Emma (Lisboa, Lisboa) in Aug 2023
Interview
My experience with Emma was a pre-call with HR team, followed by a small introduction to my future team leader, and then what they call Recruiting Friday where you have three back-to-back interviews with people from different areas and stories where they evaluate you not only for your experience but logical thinking and who you are as a person, your characteristics and how you organize and lead.
