The job interview took two hours. First part with someone from the human ressources department. It was quite a nice talk since the lady took a lot of time to get to know you, your personality and your soft skills. The second part was an interview with the head of the respective department. From the first moment I felt uncomfortable. For an whole hour my intention and motivation for this job was doubted even though I tried to explain I'd like to gain experience and contribute to that comapany. The focus always laid on my weaknesses and my lack of experience in this area rather than my strenghts. My interview partner conveyed the feeling that he wasn't interested in my personality and readiness to learn but only in my qualification which is a contrast to the first part of the interview.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Explain your CV. What are your strengths/weaknesses? Tell me a situation when you had a good idea but couldn't convince your workmates. How would you describe team work? Why did you choose this department and not another? Why didn't you do an internship earlier? ...
And some brain teaser.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Emma (Frankfurt am Main) in Aug 2020
Interview
I had two interviews, one hour each. Smooth and open conversation, questions about my previous experiences both technical and behavioral, what I would do in certain situations or challenges, brain teasers(where I got help) and some exercises.
