I applied online. The process took 7 weeks. I interviewed at Eli Lilly and Company in Sep 2013
Interview
Three step interview process. First is with recruiter who doesn't even work for Lilly so they can't answer any Lilly specific questions. Next was a phone interview with the head of the department and another researcher. This was a very basic interview about skills and behavior. The third phase was an on-site interview. The on-site interview started with a research presentation, followed by 6 1-on-1 interviews. Individual interviews were more like a conversation. It seemed like no one was given anything specific to talk about.
I applied through other source. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Eli Lilly and Company (Indianapolis, IN)
Interview
Very easy and very smooth. Interviewees are kept in a single room with interviewers showing up for the interview. My interview was very non-confrontational and a good chance to interact with future colleagues

Question 1
I did not experience the targeted selection process and all the questions were related to my expectations and role I wanted to play
