They want people who will invest in them because they will make a big investment in you. They will also look to see that you are a quick learner b/c pharma is a tough industry to jump in to, you have to be able to hit the ground running. Be prepared to give specific examples of times when you displayed the ability to quickly get up to speed on something.

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Eli Lilly and Company (Sesto Fiorentino) in Jul 2015
Interview
First interview at Sesto Fiorentino (Italy) with HR RPO Recruiter Specialist. After almost 2 months they called me for a selection for an internship. I had to pass 3 on-line tests about behavior, reasoning and English. So I was selected for the next interviews, with 3 managers, after 10 days they called me again for another interview with an HR recruiter, after 1 days they called me in order to arrange the last interview with a Sr. Manager. After 2 days they made me the offer and I accepted.
Interviewers and the recruiter were all really welcoming and pleasant. Very good communications.
Great experience!
