I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Eli Lilly and Company in Aug 2019
Interview
The interview process does not take long since I'm just applying for an intern position here.
There will first as usual be an application via email to the HR and within a week, they will call you and ask further about yourself.
After that, an interview appointment is set via phone call and email with details for the interview session.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Eli Lilly and Company (Kinsale) in Sep 2019
Interview
It is a four steps interview, you have to pass each step to receive a job offer. The first part is the CV selection, the second part is a HR interview + a technical interview. Then there is a half day interview with 4 different people and finally the medical assessment.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The HR interview is a behavioral interview. 52 questions in 45 minutes, fired one after the other. The areas are conflict, team work, life outside work, perception of yourself, problem solving. Some questions are repeated, only worded differently. You have to give short answers, no more than 3 sentences. You need to answer all the question in the 45 minutes.
The second part is a technical interview going through your CV and your skills.
I applied through college or university. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Eli Lilly and Company (Bloomington, IN) in Sep 2018
Interview
I applied through my campus's career services. I had an interview that following week. It was one 30 minute behavioral interview with a manager and a director. It was your typical "how do you work on a team", "walk me through your resume" type of interview. Pretty low stress. Lilly wants interns who really uphold and value their values of Integrity and Respect for People. They also want interns who are passionate about working in the life sciences industry.
