I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Eli Lilly and Company (San Diego, CA) in Dec 2022
Interview
I had an interview over teams. This was the first interview and it was very nice and relaxed. I really liked the people I interviewed with. They spoke a bit more about the job and company before asking me questions. However, when asked about flexibility I did mention I needed sponsorship which they seemed hesitant about.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Tell me a bit about yourself, describe your previous experiences and also general behavioural questions.
This company does not welcome diversity. As soon as recruiter realized I had an accent (English is not my first language) he end up the interview before started saying the position location had changed and was no longer in my region. When I considered relocation he gave the most bizarre excuses not to continue the process. I'm still confused with the whole thing, traying to figure out what really happened.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 6 months. I interviewed at Eli Lilly and Company (Indianapolis, IN) in May 2018
Interview
Was very intense and took six months from interview to hire date. Involved multiple people who were asking questions during the same interview. They are very thorough and expect strong examples to demonstrate prior experience.
