I applied through college or university. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Eli Lilly and Company in Oct 2011
Interview
Got an interview on campus through the business school. First interview was very generic, around 30 mins with current senior rep. Very easy, wanted to see what knowledge I had on the company already and ask general resume questions.
Second interview was the following week with a group of 3 senior reps/area managers of some sort. Lasted a little over an hour, all behavioral and "what would do you if" questions. Two of the guys were friendly and welcoming, third guy played bad cop and criticized responses and frequently demanded different ones. Also criticized my personality some, which was hard at times.
Good interview experience, good way to see if candidates can stand their ground around doctors in the real position. Showed me I wasn't cut out for that type of work.

Question 1
What are you going to do when a team member is off playing golf instead of working and he ignores you when you talk to him?
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Eli Lilly and Company (Raleigh, NC) in Feb 2025
Interview
This was one of the hardest interview processes I have ever gone through. There are many rounds to the interview, and they use the “STAR” process (you can look this up). If you are interviewing for this company, it’s imperative to study this process so you know how to answer questions correctly. I made it through to the final round of interviews (it was between myself and one other person). In the end, they went with someone more familiar with the territory.

Interview was by phone. It was not very long maybe 20 minutes. I didn't feel like a connected with the person who was interviewing me. I did not receive a follow up interview.
