The process was a bit frustrating. I worked with a recruiting team and they helped me prepare for the interview. I included projects that were directly relevant to what the recruiting team expressed the client would want to see. When I reviewed my projects with the client, they seemed very on board and excited. However, immediately after the call, they gave feedback that I didn't show any work that they thought was relevant. Apparently the hiring manager is not the person who is actually on any of the interviews and they just go off of notes from the call. Either the team that I interviewed with said that everything was great and they were excited for me to move forward, but in their notes they said otherwise, or the hiring manager to throw on liberties. Not really sure what happened, but it was a pretty frustrating experience and a huge time suck.
