I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Eaton in Sep 2015
Interview
I was contacted by email, to request to schedule a phone interview. On the specified day for the phone interview, I did not receive any phone call. I received apologies and 2 more scheduled phone interviews. At the end, my phone interview never happened.
I applied through college or university. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Eaton (Ann Arbor, MI) in Oct 2014
Interview
Two phone interviews, one with program manager, one with full time engineer. Walked you through the STAR method step by step so you didn't miss a part. The end of the interviews were just an easy chat about things I like to do and sports. The interview was really relaxed and I enjoyed the process more than most interviews. I heard back about a month and a half later after some badgering for passing the deadline they told me but I got an offer.

I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Eaton (San Luis Obispo, CA)
Interview
I've interviewed twice with them. A lot of in-depth, story based questions. I was asked to give another example of those questions that they gave. It really took a lot out of me because of how different it was from any other job interviewed I'd ever had or taken.
If you make it past the first round, then the second round is a technical interview where they give you a product and ask you to give a presentation and sell it.
