I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Eaton (South Milwaukee, WI)
Interview
Brief phone interview from HR, and then a 30 minute call from the engineering manager. After the phone screening, an onsite interview was set up. The interview takes about five hours, and I was interviewed by 6 different people (two people per hour for three hours). The last two hours were spend touring the facility. Basic STAR questions were asked. I was asked about projects on my resume, but there weren't really any technical questions. The process took a couple weeks, and I was given the offer two days after the interview (this probably isn't typical).

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Eaton (Milwaukee, WI) in Aug 2013
Interview
First a phone call with someone from Cleveland, than an in person interview in 3 stages with 4 people and a shop tour. About a week later I had an offer and was allowed the weekend to think it over. They were very accepting when I asked to give one months’ notice to my former employer.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Eaton (Phoenix, AZ) in Nov 2015
Interview
Talked to a recruiter at a conference, he gave me his email and I emailed him a few times and he got me a phone interview. Had another phone interview a few days after the first. Both were nice and easy.
