I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Eaton (New York, NY) in May 2019
Interview
It was a drive. The interview process of course did not have any time frame and I waited 4 hours for first round.
First two rounds were technical and was asked about all automation related questions, framework implementation, coding round.
I did well in both the rounds and both the interviewer were nice and asked brain teasing questions.
The third round was HR round and here it went all bizarre. The HR guy was so unprofessional, he was looking into his mobile continuously while talking to me which was not at all professional. Candidates too spend lot of time for interview process it was complete day in my case you can not mock them and this is not expected OF ALL FROM HR. The unprofessional behavior did not end here he asked details about my wife where she worked and everything , what it is to do with this HR. He asked me many personal questions, I said my expected to match with my current and he grilled me over that like I have done some crime. All he kept saying is how would you join our company in case if you get more salary.
If whoever from higher management reads this I would be happy to give you more details but your employees CAN NOT ask about candidates wife's details.
I applied through other source. I interviewed at Eaton
Interview
I was asked several questions about conflict resolution. Several scenarios about how to handle common issues with employees. The setting was not intimidating. The questions were only partially prepared upfront so ig was more like a conversation after the first 5 minutes or so.
