I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at EY (Bengaluru) in Jan 2015
Interview
Round 1 : GD Need to speak on a topic for a 1 complete minute well topics are given by them.
Round 2 : Aptitude ( Basic accounts , Maths , English and quantitative questions )
Round 3 : HR Round ( Usually the HR asks you about the golden rules of accounting, salary expectations , introducing your self etc
Round 4 : Technical ( you need to brush up your accounting knowledge from PU )
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Basic accounts , recent Tax slabs , depreciation , passing the journal entries, about big four and why EY .
The interview process was smooth. They initially asked basic questions and then gradually moved to more complicated, real-world questions. Overall, it was manageable. The HR round was also easy. Before the interviews, you had to complete the EY online assessment, which included grammar-related questions.
Aptitude test , then resume screening , then 3 rounds of interview or it could even be 2 rounds of interview depending on candidate. Also those rounds of interview would include Technical rounds and HR round which they will finally decide as per candidate’s answering skills
It was a structured one and the orientation was a structured one with pre placement talk with an online assessment and 2 rounds of interview one being technical and the other being HR round
