I applied through college or university. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Dow (Lake Jackson, TX) in Sep 2019
Interview
First, I interviewed with an alumni from the university at an on-campus recruiting event. About a month later, I got an interview in Lake Jackson, TX. The interview included a dinner with two supervisors the day before. The day of the interview I gave a 45 minutes presentation of my research with a group of engineers asking questions. Later, there was a panel interview with 3 supervisors. (2 group leaders and their supervisor). I also got the opportunity to talk to one of the newer employees about how it is to work in that role. All involved were very friendly and professional. After the interview, we had lunch together and I got a drive by tour of the manufacturing plants in Freeport, TX.
The panel questions were mostly behavioral, focusing on negatives. How do you handle stress, how did you handle a difficult conversation. Tell me about a situation, where you had to deliver bad news. How did you handle a conflict with a lab member/supervisor.
About a month after the interview, I got a rejection.

Interview
It was very casual. The interviewers were interested in asking behavioral questions from challenges I encountered during my research. They were looking for specific instances, not general and vague answers.
