I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Dow (Atlanta, GA) in Oct 2012
Interview
This was a on-campus interview for PhD graduates or to be graduates. The interviewer said that he is asking the same standard questions to everybody. Some of the questions asked were:
Why do you want to pursue a career in the industry instead of going to academics?
Tell me about your research.
How is your approach better than the others being used in the industry today?
How does your approach compare with others researching on the same topic?
In what areas can you contribute to the company with your skill set?
It was a campus interview and I applied online. Very good experience and lots of behavioral questions. Usually interested in your previous experience and projects. It was more like a conversion and really enjoyable.
Straightforward and transparent with a strong focus on technical capabilities and knowledge. Presentation on past experience is par for the course as well as 1:1 interviews with team members. First round was virtual followed by an in-person interview.

I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Dow (Midland, MI)
Interview
First did an on-campus interview through my university; roughly ~2 weeks later was invited for an on-site interview at the Midland, MI site. On-site, I gave a 45 minute seminar on my previous research with a Q&A portion, then did one-on-one interviews with members of the groups I would be joining (four 30-60 minute interviews per group). These mostly asked traditional behavioral questions, with very few technical questions.
