I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Dollar General
Interview
The interview was so fast and laid back. All that really went down was I came in, sat in the back office with the store manager, they ask a few questions (and when I say a few, I mean like 3) and they say "well just complete the forms that are coming to your email and we'll start you off asap."
So the interview was basically, "Do you want to work here? alright cool, you got it."

Interview
Very simple straight forward questions. No "why do you want to work here?" questions or anything to that nature. Talked about dress codes, pay rates, hours of operations, holiday sales events, etc. Very very easy process.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Dollar General (Effort, PA) in Jun 2016
Interview
The manager sat me down in a back room and introduced herself. I think she could tell I was nervous because one of the first things she told me was that the customers who shopped at that store were not nice to shy people and would take advantage. She also proceeded to talk about how they desperately needed new employees because everyone was quitting (I now know why). She asked a few simple questions, but the majority of the interview was really her explaining why (not in these words) I SHOULDN'T work there.
