Very brief. If you got a call you have the job unless you fail background test. The manager only cared about my availability. I was asked about past jobs and can I work any shift

At my store level, it's often friend suggested and people that know people. For me it was easy, I had a reputation as a hard worker with my store managers friend. I just answered a couple simple questions and passed a background check and was almost automatically hired. And then promoted to lead ina few days time. But I've heard stories of other store and other managers that aren't that pleasant, it's all depending on the individual store manager.
