Dollar General interview questions

Standard retail-associated questions you'd get at any other similar job. Sent an application (online-only), didn't get a response for several weeks, called them one day and the manager asked me to come in for an interview the next day (poor application management). Had a single interview about basic skills, then waited another week for background check.

The hiring process was quick and simple and very relaxed. The room, though, was cramped and unkempt. Other than that one complaint, getting hired was pretty easy. Almost as if they were desperate.
