Interview
Extremely laid back with only a few simple questions. I wore casual clothing went back to the break room and sat at a table where she asked me literally two questions. I filled out the rest of my hiring paper work and can in the next day to start and begin my training.

Interview
You sit in an office, you answer questions like "do you have any prior job experience" or "what are skills you bring to the table". You answer the questions truthfully and to the best of your ability. Usually they won't mention a background screening or drug test if it doesn't pop up on your record.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Dollar General (Bakersfield, CA)
Interview
Received a phone call to schedule a phone interview. Was brief and professional.
Scheduled a second phone interview with DC Assistant Director. Was very brief and highly professional.
Follow up email to schedule final panel interview with 5 leaders of various departments including the DC director. I wore a collared shirt and suit jacket, very nice jeans, black belt black dress shoes. The panel was a perfect mix of genders, races, and ages. They took turns asking various questions, some of them very tricky, particularly around the topic of leadership. They were clearly identifying my leadership skills and weakness. The energy was professional and intense, but during our dialogue I managed to get a couple good laughs from everyone. I always answered honestly but with strong positive spins on every question. I made sure to keep the mood professional but very personal, even sharing that I was nervous on the drive over but feeling very positive at the moment. Remember to memorize everyone's names so that upon leaving the interview you can individually shake hands and thank them by name. They held a review discussion immediately after I left. I got the job offer, negotiated and got both my desired salary and hours. Best possible outcome.

Question 1
"Tell us about a learning opportunity you have when it comes to leadership?" (tricky way of asking about weaknesses)
