      Retail Sales Clerk Interview

      Jul 13, 2016
      Anonymous employee
      Anaheim, CA
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Disneyland Resort (Anaheim, CA) in Oct 2015

      Interview

I was asked a few questions and the woman interviewing me was super sweet and thorough. One thing about hiring is that Disney is incredibly organized when it comes to processing people. Unfortunately, orientation or "traditions" as they like to call it, is 8hrs and 3 days long. It's dull and I swear people were watching us through a one way mirror.

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Disneyland Resort (Anaheim, CA) in Nov 2016

      Interview

This was honestly the easiest interview ever! I had an interview scheduled for 1:00PM, got to the casting center and checked in around 12:30PM just to be safe. They always have movies playing while you're waiting and there's other people there too for interview so you're not alone. Around 1:10PM, I got called in for my interview. My interviewer was very nice and she started the interview right away. She asked me questions such as why I wanted to work for Disney and why I applied for the position I applied for. She seemed pretty satisfied with the answers I gave her and then asked me if I was attending school and what my availability was like. After that, she told me the position I had originally applied for didn't have any positions open right away and that it would require a second interview. She then gave me a couple of different positions to choose from and once I chose (custodial), she gave me the job, congratulated me, and told me to look out for an email to accept the job offer. TL;DR I was really nervous for no reason because the interview was really easy. I got asked very basic questions, was hired on the spot and they gave me a different position instead of the one I originally applied for.

      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Disneyland Resort (Anaheim, CA) in Jun 2015

      Interview

It was online with simple questions, including a personality quiz. Took 20 minutes tops to complete. I found out fairly quickly whether I passed the online interview or not. The next day I got an email saying I passed and should schedule an appointment, which was also a quick process too.
