The recruiter is the weakest link. They are unorganized and have zero motivation to move you forward in a timely manner. I've never dealt with a recruiter so disorganized and uncommunicative. Once i got an initial interview, I nailed it and the interview mentioned to lookout for the next round. That was a while back. Nothing. The recruiter just doesn't care. I think they play favorites. I'm more than qualified for the role but i don't have deep connections like perhaps some people have with this or these recruiters here.
I applied through college or university. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Discover
Interview
Very straightforward. I was barely asked any technical questions. The main point of the interview was to understand your fit with the organization. Had an on-campus interview and then a final round which was at Discover's office and that was 3 back to back interviews.

Application
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Discover (Farnborough, Hampshire, South East England, England) in Dec 2019
Interview
Face to face interview on soft skills, prior experience and typical interview coding challenge. Not terribly technical, more interested in getting the right type of personality. Tech stack was made clear beforehand so technical questions were not unexpected.
