Since this was a key hire, the interview process was fairly long but I felt it was fair. To begin with, I had an intro phone screen with another one of the directors. He asked me to put together some slides to frame how I would approach my role, and we had another discussion several weeks later where I walked him through that approach. He then introduced me to the CEO, and we had another hour long conversation. I provided references, all of which were contacted, and then came in to the office for final interviews with five other key executives and employees. I felt the process was very straightforward, and the team was very transparent with me throughout the process which was helpful.
