I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Diageo (Dublín, Dublín) in Apr 2021
Interview
The screening interview was via a 3rd party and you are required to answer a series of program questions. For each question you are provided 30 seconds to think your answer and then you have 2 minutes to explain your answer to a recording screen. The interview is about 30 min long.
After the initial screening interview I didn´t hear back from Diageo, very unprofessional from their part.
Interview questions [2]
Question 1
- Do I have a Drivers License?
- Why I would be fit for the role?
- What do I know about Diageo and role intentions
- Tell me a time where I convince a customer?
- Salary expectations
The last question is a case exercise, you are provided with 2 pages of information and 5 minutes to evaluate 2 products and select 1 to present to a customer who owns several restaurants (current customer and you want to expand the portfolio). For each product you are provided with information regarding price per bottle, #of drinks per bottle, profit per drink, marketing investment, market segment per brand, market outlook etc. The idea is to build a case for 1 product (the one who is more aligned with your customer) and present it.
I applied through other source. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Diageo (Londres, Inglaterra) in Sep 2024
Interview
Great interview process, made me feel comfortable. Interviewer was personable and encouraging. There was many parts to my interview - an ice breaker, a professional pitch, questions on my past experiences, a case study and room for my questions.

Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Tell us about your work experience and how would you interact with possible clients
The interview consisted of competency based questions, saying something interesting about yourself to all the managers and a role play part. Everything was okay except for the role play as this felt very forced. Everyone was very nice and friendly in the office.
