I applied online. I interviewed at Deutsche Bank (Londres, Inglaterra) in Dec 2012
Interview
Applied through website, after they came to my campus. First passed an online test, then a first round of interviews and then a final one. Both in London, they paid for all the expenses (flight and hotel)
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Deutsche Bank in Jan 2013
Interview
First round interview over phone: not very technical, Why db? Why asset &wealth management? They asked me about my resume and why I would be good for the job. Asked about a time I had to solve a problem and asked about my leadership history. The guy who interviewed me was young, very relaxed, and easy to talk to.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Deutsche Bank (San Petersburgo, )
Interview
There were several steps (with 1-2 weeks between each one):
1. Firstly HR contacted me by email and setup a phone call.
2. At phone call I was asked few questions about math, algorithms and logic. After passing this interview I was invited for interview in office
3. First interview in office took several hours. I talked with several engineers and managers. I was again (more detailed) asked about algorithms, Java, programming and management experience. And regular HR stuff.
4. Second office interview was with managers. At that moment they was already positive and we discussed possible offer options.
