I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Deutsche Bank (Cary, NC) in May 2014
Interview
1) Applied onlne; Deutsche Bank Recruiter reaches out - after a 15-min. conversation resume is forwarded for internal manager review. Couple of more internal recruiters do a smooth hand-off and schedule interview times. - Pleasant conversation and process.
2) 1hr - Telephone interview with hiring manger. Very pleasant to talk with, explained position and role - made this interviewee fell at-ease. After conversation, actual role has a narrower scope than position's description - with a heavy focus on SQL/prepared statements to support eSpear - an award-winning (2002) but aging back-end system.
3) Not a good match, and this interviewee was not the best prepared. Would give Deutsche Bank thumbs up on the process.
Interview questions [2]
Question 1
Mapping objects/class composition/aggregation/inheritance to table (in all fairness - after mentioning I was rusty on joins, it served as an invitation for further questions on this topic)
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Deutsche Bank (Poznań, Greater Poland) in Apr 2011
Interview
After evaluation of online application, HR held a telephone interview to inquire a little about me, my goals and career plans. Later on, I have received an invitation for the assessment center in another city. It lasted for around 8 hours and consisted of group work, presentation, problem solving and ended with an interview with a branch director and person from the HR. DB has covered all the expenses connected with travel. After around one week I received a phone call with an internship offer.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Questions were quite standard, they revolved around my experience in the past, personal interests, career goals, strengths and weaknesses. Apart from it I had a small talk with the manager about investing on a stock exchange, current trends in trading, ongoing financial crisis, and my job priorities.
