I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Deutsche Bank (New York, NY) in Apr 2015
Interview
Lateral hire interview. Process was quick. 1 day of meeting with 5-6 people from different departments. Basically they wanted to have you meet as many people as possible, and if the big boss likes you and no other person speaks anything particularly bad about you, then you're in. Offer was handed out fairly quickly, mine was done through a headhunter though, believe the headhunter pushes as well.

Question 1
Usual ones, e.g. valuation methodologies, fit questions (why do you want to join DB, introduce yourself, past deal expereince)
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Deutsche Bank (San Francisco, CA) in Feb 2016
Interview
I had a total of 2 interviews. The questions were straight forward--mostly about myself and my past work experience. I first interviewed with 3 people, 2 FAs and the Admin Manager. 2 days later I met with the Admin. Manager and the Regional Manager (Initially, another FA was scheduled to be present, but I was informed during the interview that last minute changes made it no longer necessary).
During the first interview there were 2 comments made that I found to be odd. The first comment was that I have good experience, but they're also looking for someone "mature". The second was stated as a concern that I would be coming from a "discount" brokerage firm. Both statements were irrelevant, but let me know 2 things: 1) It's likely the FAs don't interview people often, 2) They're just not that into you.
I received a call the next day to schedule a second interview. This time I would be interviewing for the same SA position, but for a different FA.
The second interview, with the Admin. and the Regional Manager consisted mostly of "get to know you" questions from the Regional Manager. At the beginning of the meeting, I was provided an apology the FA wasn't present due to last minute changes. Mid way through the interview, I inquired about the FA, and was told it was discovered not long before my interview the new FA was not in need of an SA. Naturally, I then inquired about the purpose of the interview and was told it was for the SA position working with the first 2 FAs (that didn't seem interested).
A week later I was informed they were looking for a candidate with more experience.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Deutsche Bank in Mar 2015
Interview
I applied through the resume pit that is the standard online application, so I was really surprised to hear back. The interview process started much later than other banks. The first two were over-the-phone fit interviews, then the next was a technical. Then on-site. This is about the fit interview:
