Interview questions [1]
Question 1
About my Background and interest. What do I plan to do after graduating.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Deutsche Bank (Cary, NC) in Apr 2025
Interview
I was reached out by the Deutsche bank recruiter over linkedIn to schedule a call to further discuss about the AVP role. Post talking to recruiter she said she will forward my profile to manager and will get interview scheduled.
APR 1st week - Had call with Recruiter
APR 3rd week- First Round (Technical Screening Round Virtual - 30 - 45 Mins)
MAY 1st week - Second Round (In Person Interview at Deutsche Bank, Cary NC)
June 2nd week - Fitment Round (Technical Again - 1 Hr duration - Virtual Round)
Post completing all the rounds, I was not updated on the interview status/feedback. The interview process I had with Deutsche bank was very pathetic and dead slow. If you are someone who is looking to new opportunities as soon as possible then defenitley Deutsche bank is not a good choice. The interview process keep lagging a lot, I gave one round for one month(Apr, May June), process went more than 3 months and at the end I was not even updated back with any update on the final interview. Based on this I would say the entire process from initial call to joining Deutsche bank would take 6+ months for sure. The saddest part is there communication, post completing my first round, recruiter keep saying we are yet to receive feedback from team and after following up for 3 weeks, I gave a call to one other recruiter and got surprised to know that they sent the second round(onsite) invite communication to a different person who is having same name as mine. Any how finally after talking to them, they sent the second round details to me and while doing second round, I was said by interviewer that its not my resume they got from recruiter, upon checking with recruiter they forwarded some one else resume. Post completing the second round, after 2 weeks I was said the feedback was good and manager want to meet for for a final fitment round. This round although said fitment round, it was technical again and one more surprise here as well, they recruiter shared my old resume which was 2 years back one to the panel, which was present in there system.
Please don't make the candidates suffer through your reckless process and please be mindful of candidate time. Whether it's no or yes, just let the candidate know right away instead of keep saying we didn't heard back from the panel.
