Deloitte QA Automation Engineer interview questions

Interview process was well driven. First was online assessment test which consisted mcq's. After clearing this I was invited for face to face interview which had 3 rounds. 2 Technical and one managerial. Technical was pretty easy.Interviewers were very friendly. Technical included all basics on java testing and framework.I cleared both technical and taken forward for managerial round. Even manager was very friendly and he was just focusing on knowing me better.this round is completely about you. It went so well and when I asked for feedback he said that. You were excellent. Then he asked me wait for HR for paperwork. Afterwards few names they called and said you guys didn't clear first round.you can leave for the day..But I and one person had already gone till 3rd round. So we told her we both are waiting for HR round as same thing was conveyed to us by manager. She cross checked with interviewers and said you guys didn't clear manager round. I was utterly shocked as I got a positive feedback but then informed rejected. It was totally unexpected. At least when asked for feedback after the interview if you're going to reject please don't create a hope saying wait for HR and paperwork.
