I applied through college or university. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Deloitte (Chicago, IL) in Jan 2011
Interview
The hiring and interviewing process was very much based on the traditional behavioral questions which tries to assess how one would approach completing tasks, organizational behavior (i.e. Do you make lists) communicating with others, personal strengths and weaknesses, etc. in addition to a phone interview, there is an office and multiple in person interviews with senior managers and partners followed by a dinner with current staff members.
3 rounds in total 2 technical and 1 behavioural round. They are very detailed in the process. They expect a lot from the resource now a days in return for a role with them.
Deloitte interview process typically includes application screening, recruiter call, technical and behavioral interviews, case or role-based discussions, partner interaction, and final decision based on skills, fit, experience, alignment, culture.Deloitte interview process typically includes application screening, recruiter call, technical and behavioral interviews, case or role-based discussions, partner interaction, and final decision based on skills, fit, experience, alignment, culture.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Deloitte (Ámsterdam) in Sep 2025
Interview
The interview process was structured and straightforward. It began with an initial HR screening followed by a technical round focused on audit concepts, client management, and practical scenarios. The final round involved a discussion with a senior manager about past experience, expectations, and team fit. Overall, the communication was smooth and transparent.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They asked me to describe a challenging audit situation I handled and how I approached resolving it. They wanted to understand my problem-solving skills, ability to remain calm under pressure, and how effectively I communicated with the client and team. The question focused on practical experience rather than theoretical knowledge.
