The process had some notable coordination issues. The interviewer didn't join the scheduled technical interview with no prior notice. I had to follow up via email before it was rescheduled. Not a great first impression for a candidate's time.
The interview itself was heavily theoretical Python, data structures, language internals, that kind of thing rather than the GenAI/Python Specialist focus advertised. The recruiter had also described the coding portion as "completing Python scripts in Teams chat," which turned out to be a live share-screen session instead. Small thing, but worth knowing so you can prepare accordingly.
If you're applying, go in expecting a Python fundamentals interview more than anything applied or AI-focused, and prep for share-screen coding regardless of what you're told.
